Job summary

Zalaris Deutschland AG in Helsinki is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to lead payroll and HR services for key customers, ensuring high-quality delivery and operational excellence.

You will act as trusted advisor, coordinate payroll delivery with local/nearshore/offshore teams, and develop understanding of customers' processes. Fluent Finnish and English, relevant degree, and payroll tech experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Payroll, HR Services, Service Delivery, Customer Success or related environments.
• Knowledge of payroll processes and modern Payroll/HR technologies such as SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, Workday.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for customer stakeholders, ensuring excellent service and delivery.
• Coordinate payroll service delivery with specialists across local/nearshore/offshore centres.
• Develop understanding of customers' payroll processes and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with service levels, quality standards, and procedures.
• Manage customer service financials and budget planning activities.
• Support payroll system changes, testing, deployments, and improvements.
• Ensure governance with Zalaris controls and policies.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the payroll delivery organisation.
• Participate in management activities and service development planning.

We are looking for aService Delivery Manager to join our Finnish Service Delivery team. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.Zalaris is a leading provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions and payroll services in Europe, helping organisations transform HR and payroll through innovative technology, deep domain expertise, and high-quality service delivery.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service and high-quality service delivery.
• Coordinate payroll service delivery and collaborate with payroll specialists across our local, nearshore, and offshore delivery centres.
• Develop a solid understanding of customers' payroll processes and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with agreed service levels, quality standards, and operational procedures
• Manage customer service financials and support budget planning activities.
• Support payroll system changes, testing activities, deployments, and continuous service improvements.
• Ensure relevant Zalaris controls, policies, and governance requirements are implemented and followed.
• Maintain efficient and professional communication with both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support collaboration, knowledge sharing, and engagement across the payroll delivery organization.
• Participate in local management activities and contribute to service development initiatives and planning.

Your Experience and Skills

• Experience within Payroll, HR Services, Service Delivery, Customer Success, or related environments.
• Knowledge of payroll processes and experience working with modern Payroll and HR technologies, such as SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar solutions.
• Strong customer service, relationship management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills.
• Interest in process improvement, modern technologies, and innovative ways of working.
• Fluent Finnish and strong written and spoken English skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
