Job summary

Skylo is seeking a Staff Wireless Systems Engineer in Espoo, Finland. This technical leadership role involves designing and implementing machine learning models for satellite connectivity. Ideal candidates must have over 8 years of experience in wireless systems engineering, expertise in L1/L2/L3 design, and a PhD or Master’s degree. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in wireless systems engineering.
• Proven hands-on experience in model training and application of ML.
• Deep understanding of 3GPP NR-NTN, LTE, and NB-IoT protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct technical research.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of ML models for higher performance NTN RAN.
• Develop and validate AI-enhanced PHY layer algorithms.
• Optimize network efficiency by applying ML methods.
• Collaborate with chipset and OEM partners for certification roadmaps.
