Job summary

Skylo is looking for a dedicated Senior Software Engineer to join their Protocol Stack team in Espoo, Finland. This role focuses on developing and optimizing 5G NR-NTN L1 and L2 protocols. You'll design and maintain C++ implementations and validate their performance in real-world scenarios.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in wireless/telecom protocol development.
• Strong proficiency in C++ with experience writing production-grade protocol software.
• Deep understanding of 5G NR PHY and MAC layer functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C++ implementations of 5G NR-NTN L1/L2 protocol stacks.
• Implement NTN-specific L1 adaptations and optimize MAC scheduler.
• Work with RF and baseband teams to validate L1/L2 protocol behavior.
