Job summary

GIM Robotics, based in Espoo, Finland, seeks a Senior Software Developer to design and develop systems and architectures for autonomous mobile robots. You will work on everything from robot user interfaces and perception to cloud-based solutions, with opportunities to assume a technical lead role.

You should have 5+ years of software development experience, a Master’s degree or higher in a related field, and expert-level skills in C++ and Python.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of software development experience, with a track record of designing complex software architectures from scratch.
• University-level degree (M.Sc. or higher) in robotics, computer science, or electrical engineering.
• Expert-level C++ skills.
• Expert-level Python skills.
• Experience with web development technologies such as TypeScript, ReactJS, and Django.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Git, Docker, and Linux.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in small teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop systems and architecture from cloud interfaces to low-level robot control.
• Potential to take on a technical lead role and mentor others.
• Work across robot UIs, perception, cloud solutions, and data analysis to enable autonomous operation.
