Job summary

Hiab is seeking a Robotic Platform Developer to advance its autonomous load‑handling software stack. You will design and implement automated tests, work on verification infrastructure, and contribute to release management for on‑field deployments with real‑time embedded systems.

You will collaborate with a Robotic team across research and development, applying C/C++ skills, model‑based design experience, and familiarity with ROS/ROS2.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field is required.
• Strong production‑level coding skills in C/C++ and embedded systems.
• Experience with parallel compute/embedded software development and real‑time systems.
• Knowledge of model‑based design (Matlab/Simulink) is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel internationally and collaborate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Automated software test pipelines and release management, including CI/CD tooling.
• Contributions to integration and verification of software systems including device drivers and generated code.
• Contributions to software development practices in prototype and production environments.
• Manage release pipelines for in‑vehicle deployment and signing of software.
