Job summary

Wolt Oy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Data Developer Experience team to build core services for the Data Platform. You will contribute to the Data Control Plane, a Go-based platform that configures and operates data infrastructure across a global scale.

You will design features with stakeholders, write Go code and possibly work on CI/CD tooling, documentation, and on-call operations to ensure a robust, secure, and cost-efficient platform that empowers data teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep experience with Go; willingness to dive into Python or other languages.
• Hands-on experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of networking and security best practices.
• Familiarity with data platform architecture, including columnar storage and MPP engines.
• Passion for Developer Experience and agentic coding workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design features aligning ambitions with stakeholder needs.
• Develop Go code with agents for backend services, plugins, CLI, or pipelines.
• Document high-quality Markdown docs for users and maintainers.
• Operate with vigilance and on-call participation for robust platform.
