Job summary

Wolt in Helsinki is looking for an Analytics Engineer/BI Developer to translate business needs into actionable data. You’ll partner with data scientists to support experiments, dashboards and insights across operations.

You’ll own data models, pipelines, and governance, work with Snowflake, SQL, Looker, Airflow and DBT, and mentor junior teammates while growing data literacy across the domain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Analytics Engineer or BI Developer.
• Hands-on experience with data integrations, pipelines, models and dashboards.
• Expert in Snowflake/SQL; experience with Looker and BI tools.
• Advanced SQL skills for large datasets.
• Strong business acumen with product-oriented analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop reporting and metrics quality from business needs to actionable data.
• Work on data integrations and pipelines powering Data Warehouse and dashboards.
• Design and implement complex data pipelines with orchestration and auto-materialisation logic.
• Develop a self-service data modelling strategy with Analytics stakeholders.
• Increase data literacy across the domain via training and documentation.
• Lead, mentor, and guide junior team members.
