Job summary

DNA is seeking a Senior Software Architect to shape a large-scale B2B online platform, focusing on lean, secure, and scalable architecture in a cloud-native microservice environment.

You will lead architectural decisions, review critical designs, and work closely with engineering teams to translate strategy into production-ready software while enabling AI‑enabled engineering and agentic practices across the platform.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Software Architect / Lead Engineer in complex, business‑critical systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot, close to code and helping teams translate architecture into working software.
• Strong understanding of microservice architectures and API-first design.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms and configurable product catalogs.
• Cloud‑native mindset and production orientation, including observability and security‑by‑design.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target architecture for a large-scale B2B online platform with a focus on scalability, reliability, maintainability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Lead architectural work across online microservices and APIs, ensuring clear boundaries and consistent patterns.
• Review critical designs and code, create reference implementations when needed, and help teams turn architectural direction into production-ready solutions.
• Embed security-by-design into architecture and development with defined principles, integration patterns, and guidelines.
• Facilitate trade-off discussions and decisions balancing business needs and technical risks.
• Act as a key technical partner for leadership on complex topics, risk management, and prioritization.
• Strengthen engineering practices enabling speed with safety, including CI/CD thinking and automated checks.
• Support teams in integrating AI and agentic approaches with governance and production readiness.
