Job summary

Basware is seeking a Portfolio Architect to lead the architectural vision for its product portfolio, ensuring coherent and scalable evolution with AI and machine learning embedded throughout. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to set technical direction and govern architectural standards.

This remote-first role offers a pivotal influence on product direction and requires strong expertise in AI/ML engineering and cloud-native architecture on AWS or Azure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution, Portfolio or Principal Architect at a $300M+ ARR SaaS company.
• Hands‑on expertise in AI/ML engineering — specifically in one or more of: LLMs, agentic systems, vector stores, RAG architectures, and ML pipelines.
• Practical experience with cloud-native architecture on AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the portfolio-level technical architecture across Basware’s product suite.
• Lead architectural decisions across LLMs and AI capabilities.
• Own the MLOps architecture: model training pipelines, versioning and deployment.
