Job summary

IQM is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Espoo or Munich teams. You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading production software on quantum computers, ensuring reliability and performance in live environments.

You'll work closely with customers and internal experts, providing Tier 2/3 support, troubleshooting complex systems, and driving automation to improve operations. Fluency in English and a strong Linux background are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Solution Architecture or Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems and docker containers.
• Experience with Python, including package installations in virtual environments.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support to customers after initial triage.
• Navigate and use our full-stack quantum software.
• Replicate customer issues to troubleshoot problems.
• Perform advanced log analysis for root cause.
• Communicate with customers via ticketing system.
