Job summary

Supercell Oy is seeking several experienced QA Specialists to ensure top-quality player experiences. You’ll be embedded within a specific game team (like Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars or Hay Day), working side-by-side to maintain high quality and engage players.

Teams are based in Helsinki and London, so location may vary by team. Candidates should have 7+ years of hands-on game testing, strong knowledge of iOS/Android, and experience testing performance metrics, crashes, and backend

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience testing games.
• Good knowledge of iOS and Android ecosystems, with testing on both platforms.
• Experience testing performance metrics (FPS, memory, loading times, battery, network).
• Ability to investigate crashes, ANRs, and backend-related bugs.
• Familiarity with client-server architectures and live service environments.
• Comfortable working across multiple teams and adapting to different workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an investigative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA support for your team to design, develop, and apply testing processes that improve game quality and player experience.
• Validate release candidates across the full release cycle, ensuring builds are stable and ready for submission.
• Test game performance and investigate crashes, ANRs, and other technical issues to find root causes.
• Validate backend systems, live features, and SDK integrations, supporting live operations by verifying fixes quickly.
• Plan and execute tests with minimal explicit requirements and take initiative to mitigate risk.
• Manage external test vendors to scale testing capability.
• Own bug tracking, reporting, and regression testing to keep releases high quality.
• Continuously evolve testing practices and tooling.
