Job summary

Neste in Porvoo, Finland, seeks a Senior Project Planner to lead schedule development and control for major investment projects in a global project controls team. You will coordinate with EPC/EPCM and contractor groups, implement PC standards, and drive maturity through new tools and processes.

We value 5+ years in project controls, strong scheduling tool knowledge, and fluent English; Finnish is a plus. The role is based in Porvoo with office presence and collaboration across locations.

Qualifications

• Required: 5+ years in Project Controls / project planning for major capital projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; English required; Finnish an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Project) and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the planning process and schedule basis for investment projects.
• Communicate schedule status and provide analysis to management and portfolio teams.
• Identify opportunities and drive initiatives to advance Project Controls maturity.
• Manage and coordinate planning development projects with EPC(M) and contractor teams.
• Implement global PC standards for cost, schedule and change management to ensure consistency.
• Set up project and portfolio schedule development and progress reporting across all phases.
• Forecast progress, review status with project management and update schedules for future works.
