Job summary

Neste is seeking a (Senior) Project Manager for Renewable Processes to lead technology development and refinery support projects in Porvoo, Finland. You will work with production, engineering, R&D, and stakeholders to advance NEXBTL technology while ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role offers hybrid work arrangements and growth opportunities. The successful candidate will drive improvements, manage resources, and contribute to Neste’s leadership in renewable fuels.

Qualifications

• MSc or DSc in Chemical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in process design, development, or production in refining/chemicals.
• Proven project management experience in tech development or R&D.
• Hands-on knowledge of renewable feedstock pretreatment or HVO technologies.
• Excellent organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Scope technology development or refinery support with steering manager and SMEs to align targets and deliverables.
• Manage projects safely within scope, schedule, budget, and quality using the Neste operating model.
• Control and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost.
• Report project progress and performance transparently.
• Validate results to deliver high-quality outcomes with clear business value.
