Job summary

Neste in Porvoo, Finland is seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver industrial projects within our Investment Project Management team. You will manage scope, schedule, cost and resources, coordinating a multi-disciplinary team across engineering, procurement and construction.

The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication with stakeholders in a matrix environment, and fluency in English and Finnish.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in industrial project management and EPCM environment.
• Experience from the process industry is preferred but not necessary.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in leading people in a matrix organization.
• Experienced in collaborating, influencing and engaging diverse, internal and external stakeholder groups.
• Fluent communication in English and Finnish (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage the projects according to Neste operating model safely in compliance with agreed project scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Ensuring resourcing and leading the projects engineering, procurement and construction team.
• Track project's scope, schedule and costs, and lead change management process.
• Maintain a strategic focus for the project with frequent interaction with the stakeholders.
• Driving for project management best practices and efficient communication in order to create seamless and goal oriented teamwork in projects and organization.
• Ensure that project execution shall fulfill requirements of law and authorities.
• Maintain awareness of safety and environmental requirements.
• Reporting projects' status according to agreed principles.

Project Manager is accountable for overall delivery of assigned projects including following:
