Job summary

Valmet in Vantaa is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive complex product development projects from idea to market launch within the Flow Control team. You will collaborate with R&D, product management, sales, and suppliers to ensure timely and successful delivery while balancing technical constraints and business goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience managing industrial projects in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related field.
Experience leading complex product development, R&D, engineering, or industrial projects in a matrix organization.
Experience with industrial equipment or engineered products is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead complex product development projects from concept to market launch, ensuring scope, timelines, resources, and business objectives remain aligned.
Drive cross-functional collaboration between R&D, Product Management, Sales, Operations, Quality, and external partners to secure successful execution.
Translate commercial commitments and market needs into realistic project plans, balancing business expectations with technical constraints.
Identify and manage risks related to technology development, testing, validation, supply chain, and readiness.
Lead stakeholder communication across organizational levels, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and decisions.
