Job summary

Etteplan seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large embedded systems projects for our industrial customers in Finland, preferably Espoo or Tampere. You will drive cross‑functional teams across R&D, productization and delivery, balancing scope, schedule and budget while maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will manage lifecycle activities, collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders, and contribute to presales and proposals for new embedded projects.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join Etteplan!

In this role, you will lead large embedded systems projects for our industrial customers. We help our customers succeed in their R&D, productization and in every phase of their projects from requirements to final delivery. Our diverse range of clients and projects across different industries lets you build broad experience and grow your career. You will work at the center of multidisciplinary teams, balancing technical scope, schedule, and budget while keeping the customer relationship strong throughout the project.

As a Senior Project Manager at Etteplan your work includes:

• leading large, complex embedded systems projects across their full lifecycle
• planning and managing scope, schedule, budget and risk
• building and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
• acting as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders
• reporting project status and escalating risks to internal and customer management
• contributing to presales and proposal work for new embedded projects

The position is based in Finland, the location preferably being Espoo or Tampere.

Who are we looking for?

• You have several years of experience managing large embedded system projects, ideally in an industrial or product-development context
• You have strong interpersonal and leadership skills and can guide multidisciplinary technical teams towards a shared goal
• You are familiar with embedded systems development practices and can speak credibly with both engineers and customer executives
• You have a solid grasp of project management methods (agile, stage-gate, or hybrid) and tools
• You are comfortable owning schedule, budget and risk on projects of significant scale
• You have an applicable educational background, such as a degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Good written and spoken Finnish and English skills are required
