Job summary

Sweco is seeking experienced Project Planners and Senior Project Planners to support industrial investments across energy, process industries, chemicals, hydrogen, batteries and related facilities. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, managing schedules, progress, and client interactions, with flexibility for office-based or remote work.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering managers, procurement, and project leaders, with opportunities to grow into larger projects.

Qualifications

• You have a suitable higher education degree, for example in engineering, technology, business or another relevant field (BSc, MSc or equivalent).
• For the Project Planner role, you typically have around three years of experience in project planning and scheduling or project controls.
• Experience from industrial projects is preferred, and experience in EPCM project environments is considered an advantage.
• You have experience using Primavera P6, which is an essential requirement for this role.
• Experience with Microsoft Project is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Front-End Loading (FEL) project model is beneficial, as is experience working in multidisciplinary project organisations.

Responsibilities

• Project scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting in demanding industrial projects.

Project Planner / Senior Project Planner

Are you an experienced project planning professional with a passion for industrial projects? Do you want to play a key role in large-scale investments that support a more sustainable future? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Due to growing demand, we are looking for Project Planners and Senior Project Planners to join Sweco’s expanding industrial projects organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for project scheduling, progress monitoring and reporting in demanding industrial projects. Working closely with discipline leads, engineering managers, procurement managers and other project stakeholders, you will coordinate and consolidate project progress information into a clear overall view. You will support proactive project management by ensuring that project schedules and progress reporting provide an accurate picture of project status and upcoming risks.

You will report to project managers and other project leadership team members and may also work directly with clients by participating in project meetings and reviews. Depending on your experience and interests, you may take on responsibility for larger and more complex projects as a Senior Project Planner.

Our projects include a wide variety of industrial investments within sectors such as energy, process industry, chemicals, hydrogen, batteries and other industrial production facilities. At Sweco, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary project organisation together with leading experts across engineering, procurement and project management.
