Leap29 is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major CSA and architectural fit-out package on a data centre project in Vaasa, Finland. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage programmes to ensure delivery within time, budget and quality targets.

The Opportunity

Leap29 is working with an established European construction contractor delivering a major Data Centre project in Finland.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a significant CSA and architectural fit-out package.

The successful candidate will oversee construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, manage project programmes and work closely with commercial, engineering and site management teams to ensure delivery against programme, budget, safety and quality requirements.

We welcome applications from experienced construction professionals currently working in either permanent or freelance positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of CSA and architectural fit-out packages from construction through to completion and handover.
• Manage project programmes, milestones, resources and construction sequencing.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site management teams, engineers and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project budgets, commercial performance, variations and delivery risks.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with contractual requirements and technical specifications.
• Oversee procurement schedules, material availability and subcontractor performance.
• Identify programme risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Lead project meetings, progress reporting and communication with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate inspections, snagging, commissioning interfaces and final handover activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager delivering major construction projects.
• Strong background in CSA, architectural fit-out, building construction or complex construction packages.
• Demonstrated responsibility for project delivery, including programme, budget, subcontractors and resources.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams and subcontractor interfaces.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous Data Centre experience preferred, although relevant pharmaceutical, semiconductor and major industrial construction experience will also be considered.
• Willingness to work on-site in Vaasa, Finland.
• Existing right to work in Finland is required. Visa sponsorship is not available.
