Job summary

V7 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Director for a flagship data centre development in Finland. You will own the project from greenfield to commissioning, leading multidisciplinary delivery teams and coordinating with stakeholders and leadership to ensure success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering hyperscale or large data centre projects end-to-end.
• Strong background in construction, engineering, or project delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary teams and senior project managers.
• Deep understanding of commissioning, MEP systems, and integrated testing processes.
• Experience working on complex, high-value, mission-critical environments.
• Willingness to be based full-time in Finland.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of large-scale data centre projects from greenfield through to commissioning and handover.
• Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers and wider delivery teams.
• Oversee programme, cost, quality, and risk across multiple projects or campuses.
• Drive contractor and consultant performance to meet project objectives.
• Ensure successful commissioning, integrated systems testing, and client handover.
• Act as the key interface between stakeholders, contractors, and internal leadership.
• Implement best practices in project delivery, governance, and reporting.

We’re partnering with a global leader in the Data Centre industry to appoint an exceptional Project Director to take full ownership of a flagship, mission-critical development in Finland. This is a senior, permanent residential opportunity offering a highly competitive package, bonus potential, and a long-term pipeline of major European projects. We’re looking for a proven leader with end-to-end hyperscale data centre delivery experience, strong CSA, MEP and commissioning expertise, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex, high-value developments.

This is a Permanent residential role based in Finland.
