Job summary

AFRY is recruiting an experienced Chief Process Engineer in the Chemicals & Biorefining, Mining & Metals process engineering team. The role is based in Finland with a primary work location in the Helsinki metropolitan area or Oulu, and AFRY supports a hybrid working model.

You will lead process engineering activities, coordinate projects, and drive knowledge sharing across disciplines. The ideal candidate holds a Master of Science in Metallurgy, has at least 10 years of process design experience

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Metallurgy or similar education.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in process design.
• Experience with basic and detail engineering in mining/metals industry.
• Safety-minded with strong collaboration and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for process engineering in your design area.
• Lead and coordinate process engineering in basic and detail engineering projects.
• Develop personal skills and participate in internal development projects.
• Share engineering and industry know-how with the team.
