Job summary

AFRY is recruiting for a Chief Process Engineer in the Chemicals & Biorefining, Mining & Metals team. You will lead process engineering in your design area and coordinate basic and detail engineering projects in a multinational setting.

The ideal candidate has a MSc in Metallurgy with 10+ years in process design, and strong English communication. Finnish/Swedish language is a plus; willingness to travel and work in hybrid mode in Helsinki or Oulu.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Metallurgy or similar education.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in process design.
• Experience of basic and detail engineering projects within the mining and metals industry.
• English fluency; Finnish and Swedish are advantageous.
• Leadership skills for cross-functional and multinational teams.
