Job summary

AFRY in Oulu is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Project Delivery unit within the Industry Division. You will manage engineering across various industrial engineering and EPCM projects, collaborating globally with clients and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering and has at least five years of relevant experience. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude are essential for this position. AFRY provides various employee benefits, including wellness and commuting support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in industry sectors such as civil engineering, metals and mining or chemicals.
• Understanding of project execution methods.
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Finnish is an asset.

• Active collaboration globally within AFRY, also together with our Clients and sub‑contractors
• Taking active part in the project sales phase as proposal manager

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (M.Sc. or B.Sc.)
• Understanding of project management and project execution methods
• Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in industry sectors such as civil engineering, metals and mining or chemicals
• Broad technical know‑how and understanding of relationships between disciplines
• Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Finnish and other languages are assets
• A can‑do attitude and great cooperation and communication skills
