Job summary
AFRY is recruiting a Process Engineer in the Chemicals & Biorefining, Mining & Metals process engineering team. The role is based in Finland with Helsinki or Oulu as the primary locations, and a hybrid working model is supported.
You will work in an international environment, collaborating across disciplines to deliver design documentation, process simulations, and equipment sizing for energy and metal processing projects. English is essential; Finnish/Swedish are a plus.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Metallurgy or equivalent.
- 0–3 years in process design.
- Experience with AutoCAD and HSC Sim.
- Experience in mining and metals projects is a plus.
- Safety-minded with good English; Finnish/Swedish an advantage.
- Willingness to travel.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for process engineering in your own design area.
- Draft flow- and PI-diagrams.
- Size process equipment.
- Perform process simulations.
- Develop process balances.
- Produce other relevant process design documentation.
- Develop personal skills and collaborate on internal projects.
