Job summary

Fortum in Espoo, Finland is seeking an experienced Senior Expert, Process Analysis to join our Process Analysis team within the Analysis, Modelling and Simulation department. You will apply your expertise to nuclear engineering assignments supporting safe operation, modernization and long-term development of nuclear power plants using Apros.

Your focus includes developing, validating nuclear plant models with Apros, performing thermal-hydraulic analyses and contributing to safety-related

Qualifications

M.Sc. in Energy Technology, Process Engineering, Engineering Physics or another relevant engineering discipline.
Proven experience in process analyses using Apros simulation software.
Proven experience in nuclear power plant model development using Apros.
Strong knowledge of thermal hydraulics and power plant technology.
Experience from nuclear power plant projects and nuclear safety-related analyses.

Responsibilities

Execute thermal-hydraulic and process analyses using Apros simulation software.
Develop, maintain and validate nuclear power plant models with Apros.
Execute nuclear safety analyses, engineering analyses and licensing activities.
Participate in customer projects and technical deliveries.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across Fortum and customer organizations.
