Job summary

Fortum Oyj is seeking an experienced Senior Expert, Process Analysis to join the Process Analysis team within the Analysis, Modelling and Simulation department in Espoo. You will apply your expertise to nuclear engineering assignments supporting safe operation, modernization and long-term development of nuclear plants using Apros for modelling.

You will contribute to safety assessments and project work for Loviisa NPP, and participate in international customer projects while enhancing Fortum’s

Qualifications

• MSc in Energy Technology, Process Engineering, Engineering Physics or comparable field.
• Proven experience with Apros for process analyses and modelling.
• Experience in nuclear power plant models and safety analyses.
• Strong knowledge of thermal hydraulics and power plant tech.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken; Finnish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute thermal-hydraulic and process analyses with Apros.
• Develop, maintain and validate nuclear plant models using Apros.
• Perform nuclear safety analyses, engineering analyses and licensing work.
• Contribute to customer projects and technical deliveries.
• Collaborate across Fortum and customer teams on projects.
