Qualifications

• A university degree in Engineering (e.g. energy engineering), Energy Technology or Physics, with a couple of years of relevant working experience.
• Fluent English; Finnish and/or Swedish are considered an advantage
• Familiarity with nuclear safety principles or other regulated environments, with a safety mindset
• Knowledge of power plant technology, operation and maintenance, or construction is advantageous
• Systematic, goal‑oriented work style with strong problem-solving and high responsibility

Responsibilities

• Functional safety analyses for Loviisa NPP or external customers
• Emergency operation procedure (EOP) development
• Safety and seismic classification studies and reports
• Nuclear newbuild projects: evaluation of plant concepts, dialogue with regulators and licensing documentation
• Owner’s engineering – supporting utilities in new build projects
• Evaluate and develop severe accident management concepts for Loviisa and new nuclear projects
