Job summary

Neste is seeking an initiative‑taking Operations Engineer for Production Line 3 at the Porvoo refinery. You will monitor and enhance unit performance and availability, collaborating with shift, maintenance and control teams to enable cost‑effective operation.

The role requires a Master of Science in Technology or Bachelor of Engineering (chemical/process/energy) and fluency in Finnish with strong English. You will contribute to safety, documentation, and continuous improvement in a dynamic

Qualifications

Fluent Finnish and good English oral and written skills.
Evidence of proactive problem solving with a systematic approach.
Excellent collaboration and clear technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor, optimise and develop performance, availability and energy efficiency of units.
Handle deviations, investigate root causes and lead solution groups.
Develop process safety including change management and risk assessments (PHA/HAZOP).
Maintain and develop production line instructions and technical documentation.
Plan and coordinate maintenance work and shutdowns as a production representative.
Identify constraints and drive investment and investigation projects.
