Job summary

Cast AI in Finland is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines that ship every service. You’ll ensure observability is built-in, and the tools engineers rely on run reliably in production. You will develop local development tooling and reduce friction for teams while participating in on‑call rotations.

The role is remote-friendly, with equity and a learning budget. You’ll join a global team, collaborate on Kubernetes‑focused infrastructure, and travel to Vilnius

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and clean architecture.
• Go production experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in platform engineering: CI/CD, GitOps, IaC, container orchestration.
• Experience with AI coding agents.
• Led a complex project end-to-end.
• Excellent debugging and performance tuning.
• Strong English communication.
• Startup mindset and on-call participation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines across all services.
• Maintain observability and monitoring tooling used by other teams.
• Develop local development tooling to reproduce production conditions.
• Reduce friction for other teams by addressing root causes of infra issues.
• Debug complex issues spanning CI/CD, observability, Kubernetes, and cloud.
• Contribute to the platform roadmap and backlog.
