Job summary

Kenton Black is currently recruiting a Senior MEP Planner for a major hyperscale data centre project in Finland. You will lead detailed MEP programme development and align with the wider project team to ensure milestones are met.

In this long-term role, you will manage Primavera P6 schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and stakeholders to drive on-time delivery across European projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction planning.
• Strong MEP planning experience essential.
• Experience on general construction projects welcome.
• Experience on large-scale or complex projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP sequencing, programmes and progress reporting.
• Confident with project teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Data centre experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing detailed MEP project programmes.
• Updating and maintaining programmes using Primavera P6.
• Monitoring progress and identifying potential delays.
• Managing MEP sequencing and coordinating construction activities.
• Producing programme updates and progress reports.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Supporting mitigation and recovery planning where required.
• Ensuring programme milestones and key deliverables are tracked.

Location: Finland

Rotation: 10/4

Salary: €6,500 NET per month (can be negotiated)

Accommodation: Single occupancy provided

Travel: Flights and any travel costs to and from Finland covered

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Senior MEP Planner to join a well-established European engineering and construction specialist working on a major hyperscale data centre project in Finland.

The project is currently in the early set-up stages and is due to kick off around November/December, with the first phase expected to run for approximately 18 months.

This is a long-term opportunity, with further projects across Europe available upon completion, providing the opportunity to continue working internationally with the business.

The Role

As Senior MEP Planner, you will be responsible for planning and programme management across the MEP elements of the project, working closely with the wider project and construction teams to ensure works are delivered in line with programme requirements.
