Job summary

Nokia Technology Standards seeks a highly skilled patent specialist to own a technology domain within cellular standards inventions. You will work with inventors, 3GPP delegates, and patent associates to protect high-value 5G/6G innovations and contribute to Nokia’s leading patent portfolio.

Qualifications

PhD in telecommunications or related field.
Experience in cellular standards patenting or research with a track record of inventions/patents.
Deep expertise in 5G and/or 6G systems, especially 3GPP physical-layer design or radio protocols.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with inventors to develop high-value 5G/6G invention disclosures and evaluate disclosures.
Lead claim charting against 5G/6G specifications to support development of a high-value patent portfolio.
Promote a culture of innovation across Nokia's patent organization.
