Job summary

Glaston is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Tampere to design, develop and maintain backend applications powering its glass tempering machines. You will work on core systems using .NET/.NET Framework and collaborate with QA, Product, Project Management and Technical Support to deliver robust software solutions.

The role requires strong C# and REST API experience, plus an eye for code quality and architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise applications.
• Strong proficiency in .NET and .NET Framework; solid C# and OOP fundamentals.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, REST APIs, databases and cloud/docker environments.
• Proficient in English and Finnish, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Designing software solutions as part of Glaston's automation platform; developing and maintaining core backend applications using .NET and .NET Framework.
• Developing software according to product roadmaps and ensuring integration with production environments.
• Leading code quality initiatives through reviews and standards; mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices.
