Mercor is seeking a Senior Multiline Claims Examiner to join our remote, contract team. You will manage complex property, auto physical damage, or general liability claims across multiple jurisdictions, applying policy language and providing thorough evaluations.

You will draft analysis, settlement recommendations, and insured communications, while guiding junior staff and contributing to model feedback. Immediate start; 20–40 hours per week, $80/hour, onboarding paid.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional P&C claims handling, adjusting, or examining experience.
• Independently handled claims in at least one area (property, auto, bodily injury, GL, catastrophe, or specialty).
• Understand the claim lifecycle from intake to closure.
• Read and apply policy language, escalate when needed.
• Excellent written analysis, balanced judgment, and high attention to detail.
• Distinguish ordinary adjudication from complex coverage, litigation, or actuarial work.

Responsabilités

• Design realistic claims scenarios and manage end-to-end processes.
• Create work products: claim action plans, coverage analyses, investigation requests, evaluation summaries, settlement recommendations, insured communications.
• Write high-quality reference responses for experienced claims professionals.
• Grade AI-generated responses for factual accuracy and policy application.
• Identify premature conclusions, missing steps, or improper communications.
• Provide written feedback to improve model behavior.
