Job summary

ClaimsPro LP is hiring a Bodily Injury Adjuster in Markham, Ontario, offering a hybrid or remote work arrangement. The role focuses on adjusting BI claims with strong analytical and communication skills, supported by a large team and Claim Space software.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year BI claims experience, an insurance-related degree, and the ability to interpret complex documents while delivering high-quality service. A comprehensive benefit package is provided.

Compensation range: $67,200.00 - $93,300.00 annually

Competencies: The Independent Adjuster actively adjusts claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized. The profile duties create a dynamic portfolio requiring extremely well-honed organizational skills that enable day to day activities to be completed while allowing efficient and effective progress of file management activities. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have experience in Automobile and General Liability Bodily Injury. The candidate must have CGL experience , as well as the following competencies; Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Onedrive) Previous adjusting experience preferred Advanced communication skills including: Effective written skills including grammar and those of a technical nature Effective oral skills, including listening, interviewing, negotiating, must be able to flex style appropriate to audience Relationship Building skills Demonstrated and proven leadership skills Sense of urgency and responsiveness Strong interpersonal skills allowing you to effectively deal with conflict and difficult situations. Strong commitment to ongoing education and learning.

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance.
• Minimum of 1 year BI Claims experience.
• Equivalency in combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Ongoing commitment to education and learning.
• Effective analytical skills, including identification of cause and effect dynamics
• Good investigative manner Able to draw valid conclusions and effectively communicate them.
• Ability to interpret complex documents of a legal nature, perform and understand advanced numerical calculations including analysis of comparative information.
• Adjuster’s license, or currently pursuing or have completed the CIP designation Valid G driver’s license - this position will require in person scene investigations and road work
