Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. is building a flagship hyperscale data center campus in Lahti, Finland. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will maintain and optimize mechanical infrastructure and support 24/7 operations in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience, with strong expertise in HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and compressors. Finnish language skills are a plus; English is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical infrastructure including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and compressors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, installation, operation and maintenance of mechanical systems within the data centres.
• Ensure HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and compressors operate reliably and efficiently.
• Support safety policies, procedures, and best practices for mechanical infrastructure.
