Job summary

IQM Quantum Computers seeks a Senior System Administrator I to own key IT services, drive development tasks and contribute to roadmap initiatives. You will monitor uptime for production systems, schedule upgrades, document systems, and proactively resolve issues while collaborating with global teams.

You will bring 5+ years of IT experience, strong documentation practices, and English fluency to support cross-functional stakeholders in a hybrid Espoo/Munich setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of wide experience with clear responsibility in IT services.
• Experience across different IT environments and systems.
• IT system planning and architecture experience.
• Experience in systematic documentation practices.
• Understanding of IT support principles, information security, and business continuity.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and responsibility of named technical IT services.
• Execute IT development tasks and project roadmap initiatives.
• Monitor and optimize uptime for internal and customer-facing production systems.
• Plan and perform upgrade and maintenance activities.
• Document IT systems and services, keeping records current.
• Analyze logs for critical alerts and resolve issues proactively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to design infrastructure and applications.
• Develop, administer and maintain IT infrastructure and systems at IQM globally.
