Job summary

Remedy Entertainment is seeking a Technical Music Designer to craft interactive music experiences for our next generation games. You will focus on the technical implementation of music, collaborating with composers and audio designers to turn musical deliveries into dynamic, reactive in-game experiences.

You will design interactive music systems using Wwise, contribute to directing music implementation, translate composers’ visions into gameplay-reactive audio, and help polish and optimize

Qualifications

• Experience implementing music systems in video games.
• Knowledge of music licensing and rights management is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate clearly.
• Experience with game audio pipelines and dynamic scoring.
• Shipped AAA title experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement interactive music systems using Wwise for dynamic, player-reactive scoring.
• Define music implementation direction and tooling with creative/technical stakeholders.
• Translate a composer’s vision into a gameplay-reactive audio system.
• Polish, bug fix and optimize performance of audio systems.
• Maintain clear communication to ensure quality across the game team.
• Provide accurate task time estimates and meet production deadlines.
• Mentor and support other team members to foster growth.
