Job summary

Remedy Entertainment Plc in Helsinki is seeking a Technical Music Designer to craft interactive music experiences for the next generation of games. You will design and implement music systems that respond to gameplay using Wwise and other tools, collaborating with composers and audio designers.

In this role you will focus on the technical implementation rather than composing, building scalable systems, and mentoring teammates while delivering high-quality, player-reactive soundscapes across AAA

Qualifications

• At least one shipped AAA title in game development.
• Experience implementing music systems in video games.
• Knowledge of DAWs: REAPER, Pro Tools, Nuendo, etc.
• Strong programming skills in Lua, C#, Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement interactive music systems using Wwise and other tools to support dynamic, player-reactive scoring.
• Define music implementation direction with creative and technical stakeholders.
• Translate a composer's vision into a gameplay-responsive audio system.
• Polish, bug-fix and optimize audio systems for performance.
• Maintain clear communication to ensure game-wide music quality.
• Provide time estimates for tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Mentor and support teammates to improve and grow.
