Job summary

Remedy Entertainment Plc is seeking a Senior Development Manager to drive delivery across game projects and coordinate with distributed teams. You will guide Development Managers, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with the Development Director and leads to ensure efficient production.

You will champion best practices, manage budgets, and oversee dependencies with motion capture studios and outsourcing partners while fostering an inclusive, high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Senior Development Manager or Senior Producer with at least one shipped PC/console game.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple crafts in large game production.
• Experience with internal and external partners, outsourcing and external deliveries.
• Proficiency in project tools such as Jira and Klash; strong Excel skills.

Job Description Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Control®, Max Payne®, Alan Wake®, and one of the leading independent game studios in the world, is looking for a Senior Development Manager to create gaming experiences for the next generation of games. We are now looking to expand our production department with an experienced Senior Development Manager to help drive development efficiency and enable the production of Remedy games. As a Senior Development Manager, you will take part in all phases of our high-quality game projects and thus, together with the teams, get to contribute to Remedy's future success. You will be the main point of contact for various game teams, including those distributed across different locations. This role emphasizes coaching, guiding, and supporting Development Managers, while they will assist in daily tasks. You will work in close collaboration with the project's Development Director, other Senior Development Managers and leads. We enthusiastically welcome diverse viewpoints and backgrounds. • Plan and consistently deliver against project schedules, identify production risks or constraints, and troubleshoot dependency problems
• Manage and prioritize tasks, and clearly communicate them to the teams you are responsible for
• Coordinate work with external partners such as motion capture studios, outsourcing studios and talent, and manage the dependencies between external deliveries and the internal teams.
• Support, drive and inform the budgeting process for internal and external project needs to ensure project budgets are planned, tracked and managed effectively.
• Facilitate communication between the project teams, leads and the other producers
• Actively optimize and improve work methods and best practices to drive team efficiency
• Stay up to date with industry standards, both in terms of methodology and quality, and help team members stay on par or ahead of them when necessary

What You Bring To The Role

• You have solid experience as a Senior Development Manager or Senior Producer, with at least one shipped PC/console game.
• You have excellent project management skills and hands‑on experience managing multiple crafts in a larger game production, understanding the dependencies between the crafts. Experience with narrative and cinematics pipelines is highly valued.
• You have experience working with both internal teams and external partners, such as motion capture studios, outsourcing studios and talent. Experience with external partner relations and processes, such as outsourcing agreements, shoots and delivery follow‑up is a plus.
• You are experienced with production management tools such as Jira and Klash, including setting up and maintaining team workflows.
• You are proficient in Excel.
• You have a problem‑solving and critical‑thinking mindset.
• You are used to collaborating with colleagues across different locations and departments, and you are able to communicate and present your ideas in a clear and coherent way.
• You thrive working in a team environment, sharing ideas and learning from others. As a team member, you are dedicated to contributing towards a friendly and inclusive work environment.
