Job summary

Helsinki Shipyard in Helsinki invites applications for System Designers to join the HVAC Design team. You will be responsible for system-responsible design across multiple ship projects, making economical, regulatory, and design decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Around five years of experience in building services engineering or shipbuilding.
• Experience with sewage and drain, ventilation and air conditioning, or fire protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings for the basic design phase.
• Support purchasing of equipment specified in your design.
• Prepare test programs for designated systems.
• Support production as a specialist in designated systems.
• Contact suppliers and coordinate technical matters.
• Resolve design solutions with other designers and production specialists.
• Participate in line organization development activities.
