Job summary

TES - Consulting Engineering in Helsinki seeks an senior HVAC design engineer to lead a five-person design team, define project concepts, and manage schedules from preliminary design to tender and construction documentation. Fluency in English and Finnish is required, with a strong Office suite and a background in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a EU university (Aalto University preferred).
• At least 10 years designing HVAC and ventilation systems.
• In-depth knowledge of heat-load calculation and system selection.
• Experience with AutoCAD drafting and Revit modeling.
• Experience leading a team of engineers (≥5 years).
• Strong proficiency with MS Office.

About Your Position

What We’re Looking For

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University or an equivalent EU university.
• At least 10 years of experience designing HVAC and ventilation systems.
• In-depth knowledge of heat-load calculation, HVAC system selection and design, AutoCAD drafting and Revit modeling.
• Experience preparing bills of quantities and cost estimates.
• At least 5 years of experience leading a team of engineers.
• Full command of the Office suite.
• Fluent English and Finnish.
• Based in Helsinki or the surrounding area, or willing to relocate.
• A committed, responsible approach and strong teamwork skills.
