Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Senior Consultant – Health Economics Statistician to join our HEOR team with hybrid options in London, Barcelona or Toronto, or remote in the UK. The role focuses on strategic statistical input, NMA/ITC methods, and handling large clinical and real-world data to inform healthcare decision-making.

You will design studies, shape proposals, mentor colleagues and engage with clients to discuss methodological approaches and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate qualification MSc/PhD in Health Economics or medical Statistics preferred or consultancy experience
• 7+ years knowledge and experience in statistics with large, complex data (clinical trials or real-world) and NMA/indirect comparisons
• Experience in NMA, ITC (MAIC, STC), IPD analyses; bespoke analyses (survival)
• Proficiency in statistical packages WinBUGS, R, STATA and/or SAS

Responsibilities

• Lead HEOR projects with advanced statistical analyses, modelling and reporting
• Provide strategic statistical input across projects using state-of-the-art methods
• Shape statistical design and planning with Team Leader; contribute expertise
• Support RFPs by drafting statistical components and joining client pitches
• Manage customer engagements from scoping to delivery, timelines and budgets
• Act as main client contact, build relationships and advise on methodological considerations
• Carry out complex analyses using clinical, economic and real-world datasets
• Develop new analytical approaches for HEOR challenges
• Provide training to internal teams on statistical methods
• Mentor junior colleagues and support their development
• Identify new opportunities with senior leadership and grow HEOR offering
• Refine consulting methodologies to reflect current statistical thinking
