Job summary

ICEYE in Espoo is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help build a mission-critical system for satellite operators. You will work on UI features with React + TypeScript and collaborate across backend services via GraphQL and REST to deliver robust data visualizations and orbit-related tools.

You will contribute to frontend architecture, testing with Jest/Playwright, and DevOps tasks including Docker deployments and CI/CD migrations. A strong emphasis on security and quality is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building fullstack apps with React, TS and Node.
• Experience building backend services with Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask).
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture and React patterns.
• Experience designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Solid testing with Jest and Playwright.
• Experience with Vite/webpack/npm tooling.
• Proficient Git and collaborative workflows.
• Knowledge of web security best practices.
• Degree in CS/SE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across a React + TypeScript project for real-time satellite operations.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designer on 3D globe rendering and data visualizations.
• Integrate with backend services via GraphQL and REST; collaborate with backend teams.
• Drive frontend architecture, state management, and performance.
• Support DevOps: Docker deployments and environment configurations; release workflows.
• Write unit tests (Jest) and end-to-end tests (Playwright).
• Participate in code reviews and mentor engineers.
• Contribute to CI/CD and migration from Webpack 5 to Vite.
