Job summary

ICEYE is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join the Missions UI in Espoo, Finland. You will develop a customer-facing on-premise Web UI for satellite tasking, collaborating with product managers, designers and engineers in a fast, high-reliability environment.

Our stack is React, TypeScript and CSS, with modern tooling and an emphasis on automated testing, continuous delivery, and occasional full-stack work with Node.js/TS and Postgres.

Qualifications

• Deep senior level frontend experience with React, TypeScript and CSS.
• Ownership of frontend architecture and trade-offs.
• Knowledge of UX principles and collaboration with designers.
• Understanding of REST APIs and CI/CD workflows.
• Willingness to occasionally go full-stack with Node.js/TS and Postgres.
• Experience with live production systems and safe daily deployments.
• Testing, documentation and code reviews are essential parts of engineering.
• AI-assisted engineering with Cursor and Devin usage.

Responsibilities

• Ship features and improvements to the tasking-to-delivery Web UIs within agile cadence.
• Raise frontend code quality and maintainability through tests and code reviews.
• Maintain reliability and performance of live production UIs through monitored deployments.
• Translate product and stakeholder input into shipped solutions across teams.
• Occasionally contribute full-stack to backend APIs to unblock delivery.
