Job summary

Aiven is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) for the EMEA region to serve as a technical customer advocate across enterprise accounts. You will collaborate with Support, Engineering, Product, and Marketing to optimize customer experiences and accelerate value realization from Aiven’s open-source services.

You will build strong relationships, craft technical strategies, and drive operational excellence while supporting cross-functional teams and sales initiatives.

Qualifications

• Deep technical understanding of enterprise data stack and open-source services.
• Experience with large-scale customer environments and cloud deployments.
• Ability to translate technical details into business impact for customers.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with enterprise customers across the full journey.
• Develop technical strategy aligned with customer priorities and architecture.
• Provide operational advisory on deployments and risk management.
• Advocate for customers across Sales, Support, Engineering and Product teams.
• Lead regular operational reviews including incidents, advisories and RCAs.
• Support sales by assisting with account planning and growth strategies.
• Travel up to 10% to meet customers.
