Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking a Senior Documentation Engineer to strengthen the Plant Development Team. You will lead documentation management, develop structured environments, and continuously improve documentation processes with a focus on M-Files.

The role requires collaboration across teams and strong attention to detail. Ideal candidates have a background in engineering documentation, fluency in English and Finnish, and proven experience in document control and process definition.

Qualifications

• Experience in documentation management and control best practices.
• Ability to define and implement document management processes.
• Support for document management tools and user permissions, esp. M-Files.
• Guidance on process improvements related to technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute project document management routines in product development.
• Develop environments for structured documentation.
• Ensure proper handling of project documents in the DMS.
• Support internal users of document management and collaboration tools.
• Contribute to improving working methods within the area.
• Offer feedback and lessons learned for documentation processes.
