Job summary

Polar Electro is seeking a Senior Data/AI Scientist for the Data Analytics & AI team at Polar Research Center. You will turn data from wearables, mobile app, and cloud services into business insights guiding product development, R&D, and customer experience.

Requirements include a Master’s or PhD in a technical field, senior analytics experience, SQL and Python/PySpark, cloud platforms (Databricks and AWS), data modeling, and strong English collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Senior-level experience in applied data analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python / PySpark.
• Experience with cloud data platforms — Databricks and AWS.
• Understanding of data modeling and data engineering practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Polar data to support business decisions across the company.
• Provide and analyze data for R&D purposes, including insights feeding product and algorithm development.
• Deliver customer experience analytics that guide product development.
• Contribute to data engineering — how our data is modeled and made available to our data analytics services.
• Contribute to the technological development and future roadmap of our data analytics.
