Job summary

Polar Research Center in Finland is seeking a Senior Data/AI Scientist to turn wearables, mobile apps, and cloud data into actionable insights for business decisions, R&D, and customer experience. You will contribute to AI/ML model development, data modeling, and help shape the analytics roadmap while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Polar offices.

The role offers hybrid working between office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Senior-level experience in applied data analytics.
• Strong SQL and Python/PySpark skills are required.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks and AWS).
• Understanding of data modeling and data engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze wearables, apps and cloud data to inform decisions.
• Deliver AI/ML model development and data insights for R&D and product development.
• Provide customer experience analytics to guide product decisions.
• Contribute to data engineering and analytics roadmap.
