ŌURA is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to advance physiological feature pipelines and biomarkers using wearable health data. You will join the Product Science team in a dynamic, exploratory environment, guiding algorithmic development from concept to deployment with cross‑functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with wearable data, deep learning, AWS, and distributed teams, and can communicate complex concepts to stakeholders while navigating ambiguity.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data science experience with sparse real-world wearable data.
• Proficient in Python and deep learning for multimodal sequential data.
• Experience forecasting, simulations, and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop new physiology-based features from multi-sensor data.
• Transform biosensor signals into actionable health metrics.
• Build scalable analytics tools and reusable data pipelines.
• Lead data collection efforts and publish findings to internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams.
