Polar Research Center is part of Polar R&D and acts as an innovation accelerator for Polar product and service development. The Research Center comprises a multidisciplinary team with expertise ranging from sensor technology and algorithms to physiology, data, and AI sciences, as well as exercise and health sciences. The team conducts cutting-edge research in wearable technologies, follows scientific developments, and collaborates globally with academic and industry partners. Polar Research Center is located at our headquarters in Kempele.
We are looking for a Senior Researcher, Algorithms to advance the next generation of sports, fitness, and wellness solutions at Polar. Alongside other researchers, designers, and engineers, you will contribute to transforming scientific knowledge into practical innovations that deliver meaningful value to our customers around the world.
Job location is any Polar office in Finland (Kempele, Helsinki, Jyväskylä, or Tampere), with Kempele headquarters preferred. Polar supports a hybrid working model, offering flexibility between office and remote work.
