Job summary

Vincit is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our Commerce team and work across a diverse portfolio of digital commerce customers. You’ll combine hands-on cloud engineering with problem-solving and customer collaboration, while tackling a range of project challenges.

You’ll design, automate, and operate cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP, with IaC using Terraform or AWS CDK, Kubernetes, CI/CD, security, and observability.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience designing, operating, and developing cloud environments, including infrastructure, networking, security, and automation.
• Hands-on with Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD, observability, reliability, and security in cloud/DevOps.
• Experience working with customers and/or software development teams.
• Strong English communication skills (Finnish a plus).

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and improve scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Maintain environments with upgrades, patches, migrations, and production issue response.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure reliable, secure, observable platforms.
• Build repeatable infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Handle cloud security, permissions, and access controls.
• Improve observability and performance of environments.
• Contribute to solution design, proposals, cost estimates, and pre-sales discussions.
